Baptist Health is currently seeking a Behavioral Treatment Manager for our Crossbridge Behavioral Health facility in Montgomery, AL.
The Treatment Manager monitors and evaluates the quality and appropriateness of therapeutic and social services provided to patients. The Treatment Manager is responsible for the development and oversight of the inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, coordination of patient and Therapy Staff schedules and the coordination of the treatment planning process. In addition, the Treatment Manager is responsible for supervising all Therapy Staff at Crossbridge and performing other duties as may be requested by the Administrator. Patient population served range in age from 19 years (minimum age for admission to the unit) through patients in the late stage of the life span.
This position requires a Master's degree in a Mental Health field from an accredited school of social work or must be qualified by education and experience in the social services needs of the mentally ill. Candidates must have a licensed in Alabama as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Master's Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LICSW) or Bachelors in Social Work (LBSW).

The DCH Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in Tuscaloosa provides counseling and training services to more than 40 organizations in Tuscaloosa, Fayette, and Pickens Counties. EAP Specialists provide short-term mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and families for a wide range of issues including stress management, life changes, health-related concerns, and child behavior concerns. In addition, DCH EAP provides triage, mental health case management, supervisory/employee consultations, and workshops/seminars. Our scope of practice includes services to children, adolescents, and adults.
A Master’s degree or higher in a mental health field (social work, psychology, counseling, etc.), and professional licensure (or eligibility for licensure) for independent practice as granted by a State of Alabama legally-recognized Board. EastPointe Hospital is a private, free-standing psychiatric hospital for adulted located in Daphne, AL. EastPointe’s clinical and medical professionals assess and evaluate adults in psychiatric crisis. Treatment focuses on stabilizing psychiatric symptoms and preventing psychiatric commitment. Adults admitted to EastPointe will have exhibited life-threatening, destructive and disabling behavior or symptoms. Each patient completes a psychiatric diagnostic evaluation and receives 24-hour clinical care for an estimated 3 to 7 day stay. The goal is for each patient to return to home or to the least restrictive level of care.

Therapist in the acute hospital setting provide individual, group and family therapy. They formulate treatment plans, behavioral management plans and provide clinical assessments of the consumers. They respond to crisis situations to help deescalate and resolve the situation.

Required degrees and majors: Masters in Counseling, Masters in Social Work, Masters in Psychology or Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with work on an occasional weekend day.
