Alabama Administrative Code 850-X-8.01(5)(c) requires that the Board provides a list of approved sponsoring organizations.  The below Provider list are the sponsors approved by the Board.  Continuing education programs sponsored by university or college social work departments accredited through CSWE are approved. All of the following are accepted if they are social work related:

• ASWB – Association of Social Work –  Search ASWB-ACE here
• National Association of Social Work
• STATE SOCIAL WORK BOARDS – any other State Licensing Social Work Board
• NBCC – National Board of Certified Counselors
• ABNP – Alabama Board of Nursing Provider
•  APA – American Psychological Association
